What is Prosody?
Intonation, rhythm, stress and pauses — how something was said, not just what was said.
The same sentence spoken with different prosody can mean the opposite. Emotional TTS and natural dialogue systems both depend on prosody annotation.
Prosody annotation is far more subjective than transcription, agreement between annotators is correspondingly lower, and it needs a tighter guideline and more review.
